One stop shop in Podgorica – 250 services in one place by 2020
Podgorica will get “one stop shop” by 2020. It means that citizens will be able to use more than 250 services in one place. The services include issuing personal documents, passports, residence permits, notarizing documents, registering civil status and companies, renewing driver’s license, banking and notary services, paying bills etc.
These centres will work according to the Azerbaijani model. This was confirmed on Monday after the minister of public administration Suzana Pribilovic and the chairman of the Azerbaijani State Agency for Public Services and Social Innovation (ASAN) Inam Karimov signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the ministry and ASAN.
Pribilovic called to mind that Azerbaijan received United Nations award for the most significant improvement of public services in 2015 for this model, ie its ASAN Centre.
Using the experience and techniques of the ASAN Centre as an internationally recognised and award-winning system, it is planned that all the necessary conditions for starting the work of the first such centre in Montenegro will be established in Podgorica by 2020,, and later in other units of local self-government.
