Northstar and Marriott ready to build Ritz Carlton Montenegro resort
Prime Minister of Montenegro Mr Dusko Markovic met the representatives of renowned global companies Northstar and Marriott, which will build Ritz Carlton Montenegro resort in Montenegro, in the municipality of Herceg Novi. The project is worth €210 million.
The owner of the Ritz Carlton Montenegro project Mr Mohamed Al Sager said that preparations for the construction of the resort are going according to plan and that the hotel operator will be a renowned world hotel company Marriott.
Carlton Montenegro Ritz Resort will be a 300-unit, with mixed-business model of operation, with 120 hotel units and 180 apartments. The first phase of the project, which include the construction of the hotel, 113 apartments and 13 villas and 4 restaurants, is expected to be completed by the summer of 2023.
Markovic expressed his satisfaction over the fact tat such world famous companies would invest in Montenegro and bring not only money, but also knowledge, experience and business ethics.
“The government has a serious infrastructure agenda that will provide new quality to the resorts in that part of the Montenegrin coast,” Prime Minister Markovic said.
The interlocutors also agreed that this resort offers great job opportunities for Montenegrin citizens. They also discussed the establishment of a Marriott Academy.
