Montenegro tourist arrivals hit record levels

Montenegro tourist arrivals hit record levels

The National Tourism Organization of Montenegro says there were around 67,000 tourists in Montenegro yesterday, which is by 8% higher compared to the same period last year.

Six coastal municipalities can’t wait for the first days of July to begin, as tourists start pouring in Montenegro, that is, in peak summer season they get three times as many international arrivals just for a day.

According to tourism experts in MNE, we expect record-breaking arrivals and revenues this year. Herceg Novi records the highest number of passenger arrivals as there were 14,080 tourists in that town yesterday, which is by 23% higher than a year ago.

Kotor also records higher number of visitors, i.e. 3,728 tourists are currently staying there, which is by 15% higher compared to the same period last year.

So, in case you missed to put Montenegro on your summer bucket list, be sure to book your spot ASAP!
