Launched 30 years ago, the Irish low-cost carrier Ryanair disrupted the European airline industry and started the low-cost revolution in Europe.
Low-cost airline Ryanair has announced in a press conference this morning that it’s going to introduce the route between Zagreb and Podgorica on 4 September.
Ryanair will open a base in Zagreb Airport with 12 brand new routes. Irish low-cost airline is coming to the city for the first time ever, and will base two aircraft there.

New routes include Charleroi, Beauvais, Dortmund, Hahn, Baden Baden, Memmingen, Bergamo, Rome Ciampino, Podgorica, Sandefjord, Gothenburg and London Stansted. A total of 36 weekly rotations will be maintained from the new Zagreb base and according to Congress Travel’s post of Facebook, the twice-weekly return flights from zagreb to Podgoica will be running on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
