Vujanovic and Sheikh Al Nahyan: More intense relations between the two countries

President of Montenegro Filip Vujanovic met the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan today.

President Vujanovic expressed satisfaction with the content and intensive relations of the two countries in all areas.

Vujanovic said that his visit to the UAE in January, when he met with the Crown Prince, the Prime Minister and the Speaker of the Parliament, was a confirmation of the close relations between the two countries, but also an incentive to use the room to improve it.

He said he was particularly satisfied with the cooperation in the field of economy, adding that it would recommend Montenegro to new investors. The president also highly evaluated all investments from UAE.

“Setting up direct flights between the two countries is particularly important for the overall cooperation. The flights will facilitate communication and improve cooperation especially in the field of tourism,” Vujanovic said.

The UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs congratulated Montenegro on its membership in NATO and its leadership in joining the EU. He said Montenegro was as an example in the region and a reliable partner of the UAE. Sheikh Al Nahyan said he expected the cooperation between the two countries would be further improved, adding that there was a room for that in all areas.
