Tivat airport breaking ground on new terminal soon
Construction of an airport terminal in Tivat at an area of 1,300 sqm started yesterday, told Danilo Orlandić, executive director of the Airports of Montenegro.
The terminal is envisaged for all departing passengers, it will consist of 6 check-in stands and premises for airline staff, police and customs administration personnel. Construction of the terminal must be completed under 75 days.
“This airport terminal will provide greater comfort for our passengers, faster and improved quality of service, as well as better work conditions for our employees,” Orlandić has posted on Facebook.
The baggage storage room in the new building will be connected with counters for registration of passengers via baggage handling conveyor&processing belts, said Orlandić, proudly promoting the Airports’ new project.
