A tiny land of great beauty – Montenegro
Painters, poets, tourists – they all experienced Montenegro in their own way. But all of them must agree – the beauty of the country cannot be ignored. Miljko Bulajic, a nature lover and administrator of the Facebook page Nature Lovers Montenegro, showed Montenegro’s extraordinary beauty.
Bulajic’s photo of frozen Skakalo waterfall in the National Park of Durmitor is a proof that our country has breathtaking spots.
Bulajic took up photography about a year ago. As he said, he wanted to show the beauty of our country primarily to our citizens, but also to people from other countries and to motivate them to visit Montenegro.
“Every part of Montenegro is a specific and very beautiful. I particularly like the north of Montenegro. The mountains and the rivers in the north are simply unique and deserve more attention and promotion,” Bulajic told CdM.
“Nowhere you will find so much natural beauty, mild beaches, clear lakes, fast rivers and gorgeous mountains – except in Montenegro.”
In addition to photography, I also do extreme sports, kayaking on white water, rafting, climbing and that is what I am promoting. Therefore, theme of the photos is ice climbing on Durmitor, to show people that our country as an ideal destination for extreme sports,” says Bulajic.
In Montenegro it is possible to wake up in the beautiful Adriatic coast, then have lunch on the lake and enjoy the evening walks in the mountains.
“I definitely prefer the mountainous, because there is still unspoiled nature there. I would definitely recommend to foreigners to bypass towns and go toward unpopulated areas, towards nature, whether in the south or north. They will find something nice and interesting everywhere,” says Bulajic.
