In order to be a more recognizable tourist destination, she said, they are constantly working on increasing the accommodation capacities of high category, improving the air-availability, diversifying the tourist offer and the extending the duration of the season. We intensively promote our tourist offer and at the same time we are working on the development of an authentic tourist product.

When it comes to new investments in tourism, Brajovic points out that the establishment of a favourable investment and business environment has led to increased interest in building new ones and raising the quality of existing hotel capacities.

“Last year, 25 hotels were opened, of which 15 were high category. Our coastline is decorated with famous hotel brands, but our goal is to have a similar situation in the north in a few year” said Brajovic.
Air -availability, as she points out, is very important, because of its transportation infrastructure, Montenegro is still an air-destination.
Brajovic said that he is convinced that the opening of the Bar – Boljare highway, whose opening is expected next year, will enable better access to tourists and investors to invest in the north.
