Montenegro opens new opportunities: Program line for improving innovation
The Prime Minister Duško Marković said that the Government had adopted a third package of economic measures to support citizens and the economy to mitigate the effects of the coronavirus pandemic. The package is worth EUR 1.22 billion and covers a four-year period.
As a non-refundable support to the economy, it has been allocated EUR 10 million for the Programme for improving the competitiveness of the economy, which includes 17 programme lines.
The program line for improving innovations is intended for entrepreneurs, micro, small and medium enterprises.
The support is aimed at covering the costs of consulting services for innovative activities in the company. Through the program line, companies will be supported for the following innovative activities:
• Product / service innovation;
• Business process innovation;
• Innovation in the organisation;
• Innovation in marketing.
The total budget for the implementation of the Program Line for Improving Innovation is € 100,000.
The Ministry of Economy approves the reimbursement of part of the costs in the amount of up to 50% of justified realised costs without VAT, and in the maximum amount of up to € 3,500 without VAT, or up to 80%, and in the maximum amount of up to € 5,000 without VAT for companies in which the ownership structure of a minimum of 50%, includes females and / or persons younger than 35.
The deadline for submission of applications is November 2, 2020.
