Podgorica approaching million passengers
Podgorica Airport is on course to handle its millionth passenger within a year for the first time in its history. The airport welcomed 86.389 travellers in October, an increase of 17.3% compared to last year. During the first ten months of 2017, the airport saw 920.943 passengers pass through its doors, up 20%. Podgorica is expected to welcome its millionth passenger next month. It will mark the first time both of Montenegro’s international airports have managed to process a million passengers and the first time all of the former Yugoslavia’s nine busiest airports will welcome at least one million travellers.
