No visas for Uruguay

At yesterday’s cabinet meeting, the government passed a decision on the publication of the Agreement between Montenegro and the Eastern Republic of Uruguay on the abolition of visas for ordinary passport holders.

This agreement was signed in Montevideo on 7 December last year with the aim of facilitating travel for the citizens of the two countries and strengthening bilateral relations.

According to the agreement, citizens of Montenegro and Uruguay will be able to enter, leave and cross the territory of another state without a visa, and with a residence permit of up to 90 days in a period of 12 months.
