Montenegro opens its borders in the first days of June

Montenegro’s Prime Minister, Mr Duško Marković, annunced that Montenegro officially became the European corona-free destination.

“Next week, a limited number of people will be allowed to attend sport events. Kindergartens, pre-school institutions, cinemas and theaters will be open”, PM said.

Mr Marković announced opening borders with countries which “meet adequate epidemic criteria”.

“Right now, these countries are: Croatia, Slovenia, Austria, Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Albania, Greece. That will enhance our tourism”, PM said.

Mr Marković said that our borders will be open for the countries with similar or the same epidemic status.

“Special testing on entering Montenegro won’t be required. But everybody will be obliged to adhere to special instructions and rules. I think it is enough to prevent importation of the virus and be open to tourists at the same time”, PM said.
