Montenegro Airlines registers record passenger numbers
The national carrier Montenegro Airlines welcomed 466.500 passengers on board its aircraft from January to August which is an increase of 2.5% compared to last year or an additional 11.382 travellers.
In August the carrier handled 105.101 passengers. Since its foundation in 1994, Montenegro Airlines carried 9.5 million travellers.
“Excellent business results are being achieved and an innovative commercial strategy is being finalised, which will define the company’s development over the next three to five years in terms of its destination network and fleet structure”, the airline said. “As a result, improved business results will be achieved and, most importantly, an even greater number of passengers and tourists from various parts of Europe and the world will visit Montenegro” they added.
