Jobs for 250 people: Five stars hotel will be built up in Budva
The company “S & I Invest” from Podgorica submitted a request for a building permit for construction of a hotel complex with five-star “Falcons” in Budva, CdM has learned. Technical documentation is submitted to the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism on December 30th, 2016.
The hotel is about to be located along the coast, near the post office in Budva. Total size of the hotel, including basement level, is about 30 thousand square meters and the investment is worth about 40 million euros.
The hotel will employ about 250 people. Priority will be given to from Budva and other citizens of Montenegro. The investor has already interviewed and selected small group of local staff.
Ministry is due to decide on permission during the first 60 days of this year, and the investor plans to complete construction by the end of 2019. It is an ambitious plan considering the fact that the construction season in Budva lasts seven and a half months, and the company will try to extend it, so the hotel may welcome first guest even in the summer of 2019.
Author of the project is Professor of Architecture at University of Belgrade, Brano Mitrović who originally comes from Miločer in Montenegro.
