An impressive start of the season
The first organized group of tourists came to Montenegro on 18 March, when Budva welcomed guests from Germany. Groups from Austria, Great Britain, France, and Russia in April, are expected. National Tourism Organization reports that this fact shows that the preseason begins earlier and earlier every year, which is the ultimate goal of the country.
Big hotels at the seaside and in the northern part of the country, such as „Palas“, „Splendid“, „Montenegro“, „Bianca Resort“, and „Spa“ in Kolašin, traditionally have attractive packages for Easter holiday and the majority of the hotels in Montenegro will open during the Labor Day, when the summer season officially starts.
„Judging by the impressions gained from the trade fairs, it’s clear that the interest for Montenegro as a destination is increasing, which is best supported by the fact that a great number of tour operators has in their offer packages for our country“, reports National Tourism Organization.
National Tourism Organization expects greater number of tourists from Poland, since Montenegro is now connected to three polish cities via direct lines. Thanks to the charter flights of the TUI Netherlands, positive trend is expected from the Netherlands too. The number of tourists from Western and Central Europe is constantly going up.
