Gumball 3000: Zuckerberg, Tyson and Hakkinen coming to Tivat
The Gumball 3000 international rally chose Montenegro as one of the “pit-stops” which will attract many fans this summer. In addition to other celebrities, Mark Zuckerberg, founder of the Facebook social network and the youngest billionaire, famous boxer Mike Tyson and Mika Hakkinen, a Finnish former professional racing driver, were expected to participate in it, said Marko Petricevic, head of Directorate for Tourism Destination Management.
Petricevic added that events like this one were extremely important for promotion of Montenegro as a travelling destination.
Thus the celebrities who are to visit Montenegro in July include Afrojack, Eve, Bun B, David Hasselhoff, Ken Griffey Jr., Ndamukong Suh, Pewdiepie, Jason Fox, Natalie Pinkham, Mike Tyson, Mika Hakkinen, CeeLo Green and DJ Ruckus. Zuckerberg will participate in the rally. The seventeenth anniversary of the rally starts in on 1 July in Riga and ends on the island of Mykonos on 8 July.
“The Gumball 3000 is an exotic rally that annually attracts more than 120 owners of supercar that visit the capitals of the world in seven days driving 5,000km,” said Petricevic.
The caravan will start its journey from the capital of Estonia, Riga. The first stop on the road is Warsaw. Then they will continue to Budapest and make the halfway pit stop in Krakow. The next day they go along the section from Budapest to Dubrovnik.
On Wednesday, 5 July, Tivat will host the Global Citizen pit-stop, where the audience will be able to see spectacular cars of famous manufacturers such as Pagani, Bugatti, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, Aston Martin, BMW, Koenigsegg, Bac Mono, AMG Mercedes, Jaguar, Bentley, Rolls Royce, and Tesla. In the same time, the drivers will enjoyed no less spectacular the Global Citizen party at the PMYC pool of Porto Montenegro, one of the directors of the company Arton Capital Milos Stojanovic told Pobjeda.
