German delegation arrived in Montenegro
Montenegro’s Prime Minister Mr Dusko Markovic met the German Economy Minister Peter Altmaier and a German delegation that yesterday arrived on an official visit to our country.
As announced by the government, one of the main topics of discussion between Markovic and the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Policy and Financial System Milutin Simović with the German delegation will be to deepen economic cooperation and intensify German investments in Montenegro.
The German delegation, which has more than thirty members, includes also representatives of the Bundestag, the German Chamber of Commerce and German entrepreneurs.
During the visit, will be signed a partnership agreement in the administration between the government of Montenegro and the government of Germany.
Germany supports Montenegro as a leader of EU integration.
Germany supports and will support Montenegro in European integration as a leading country in the process, we want all the democratic countries of the Western Balkans to be on the European path” said Mr Altmaier.
Relations between Montenegro and Germany have greatly improved since the last meeting of the Montenegrin Prime Minister and the German Chancellor in Berlin.
“Your visit to Montenegro is the confirmation of excellent bilateral relations and our determination to further strengthen them and complete them with strong economic cooperation,” said Markovic during a meeting with the German minister and businessmen.
