Bild: Montenegro is a trend destination for Germans

One of Germany’s most influential media, the Bild, has published an affirmative article on Montenegro, describing it as a small country on the Adriatic, which this year gives hope for summer vacations and trips, stating that Montenegro will be ready to welcome its guests once a conditions for the safe realization of the trip are satisfied.
The author of the article, Mark Olivier RÜhle, outlines why Montenegro should be included in the list of German tourists as a destination for the next trip, among which is the emphasis on tourists’ health safety.

Bild points out that Montenegro is a country that records a small number of infected cases of coronaviruses and is working on guidelines that imply hygiene and other health protocols in hotels and restaurants, which will be applied on-site for the purpose of health and safety of citizens and tourists who decide to visit Montenegro.

“Despite the travel ban, the small Adriatic country is now giving us hope for a summer vacation in the south. According to Bild’s exclusive information, Montenegro is fully launching its tourism infrastructure and will be ready for its guests!”

The article states that most shops in Montenegro will be open from May 4, and that hotels and restaurants could open their doors as early as May 18, and that one of the measures of health security will be the mandatory wearing of masks in all closed spaces.

The Bild recalls that Montenegro, which achieved record results in tourism in 2019, is a trend destinations for Germans, and that last year it recorded an increase of 82 percent when it comes to tourist arrivals from the German market.
