TUI returns to Montenegro, ready to invest

The return of TUI to Montenegro, where this company operated 40 years ago, is a proof of the stability and competitiveness of our country for investments from the world’s leading companies, said Prime Minister Dusko Markovic.

The PM met a delegation of TUI Group – the largest travel and tourism company in the world, and Karisma Hotels & Resorts, which has recently leased Ulcinjska Rivijera.

“Both sides expressed satisfaction because these renowned tourist companies entered the Montenegrin market and agreed that this was only the beginning of a strategic partnership with plenty of room for expanding cooperation in new projects in Montenegro,” the government said.

The aim is to expand the TUI’s offer on the one hand and to create new opportunities for citizens of Montenegro on the other.

The delegation of TUI and Karisma, led by the member of the TUI Group executive committee, David Burling, told PM that next year the company planned to open several new air flights for tourists from the United Kingdom, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Scandinavian countries, Russia and Poland coming to Montenegro.

“The arrival of TUI in Montenegro is an honour for us, but also a challenge. TUI is a global leader in tourism, which is a privilege for every country. It is up to us to take the chance,” said Markovic.
