Direct flights to Malta to be established

The number of tourists coming from Malta has increased significantly and it is necessary to consider the establishment of direct flights between the two countries, the minister of sustainable development and tourism Pavle Radulovic and non-resident ambassador of Malta to Montenegro Jaime H. Cremona agreed.

At today’s meeting the two officials discussed the potentialities of cooperation in the fields of tourism, economy, culture and sports, the Ministry of Tourism said in a statement.

Radulovic presented that there was significant increase in the number of visitors from Malta to our country in the period January-August 2017, ie 89% more than in the same period in 2016.

As Cremona pointed out, Malta will continue to support Montenegro on its European Union path.

“He also announced that he advocated and encouraged the arrival of Maltese investors and companies in Montenegro. Also, during the meeting the officials exchanged opinions in the field of introducing the programme of economic citizenship,” the ministry said.
